Dear European Commission,

AILM Associazione Italiana Lean Managers and ALES the European Lean Managers Society strongly agree that the employment and social challenges facing Europe are a result of relatively modest growth, which is rooted in untapped potential in terms of participation in employment and
productivity as per statement of “European Pillar of Social Rights” solemnly proclaimed by the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission and signed by Antonio Tajani , President of the European Parliament, Jüri Ratas, President of the Council of the European Union, and JeanClaude Juncker, President of the European Commission.

We do believe that since economic and social progress are intertwined, the establishment of a European Pillar of Social Rights should be part of wider efforts to build a more inclusive and sustainable growth model by improving Europe’s competitiveness and making it a better place to invest.

In order to have a more competitive Europe the implementation of Lean Thinking,
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement strategies in all sectors is a “MUST BE”.

AILM Associazione Italiana Lean Managers and ALES the European Lean Managers Society is hereby united to action for this purpose.
